Buggy FAQ
01How much does a buggy cost in Zakopane?
A 2-seater buggy starts at 500 PLN for one hour, 900 PLN for two and 1200 PLN for three — the price is per buggy, for up to two people. The 6-seater buggy costs from 550 PLN per hour for up to 4 people or from 650 PLN for up to 6 people; two hours start at 1000 PLN and 1200 PLN respectively. The 240 HP Maverick XRS starts at 750 PLN per hour for up to 2 people.
02Which is better — a quad or a buggy?
You drive a quad yourself and feel the terrain directly, while a 4×4 buggy has a cabin and four-wheel drive that gets through where a quad no longer will. A quad starts at 250 PLN per hour, a 2-seater buggy at 500 PLN per hour — per buggy, for up to two people. If you are coming with children or in a larger group, the 6-seater buggy is the simplest option: one adult drives and everyone else rides along.
03Do I need a driving licence to drive a buggy in Zakopane?
No, you do not need a driving licence for our buggy tours — we ride on our own off-road arena with 30 km of trails. You drive the buggy yourself, but an instructor leads the group, after a short briefing of about 10 minutes. If you would rather not drive at all, take the 6-seater buggy — one adult drives and everyone else rides along.
04Can children join the trip?
Yes — for families with children we have the 6-seater buggy: one adult drives and the rest of the family rides along in the same vehicle, with an instructor on the route. We agree the details by phone when you book, with the parent's or guardian's consent.
05What is included in the price?
The price covers a quad or buggy, a helmet, disposable mud-proof clothing, a balaclava, a briefing before you set off and fuel. An instructor rides with you on every trip, and you start with a short briefing of about 10 minutes.
06Is the hour time on the route, or does it include the briefing?
A one-hour tour means 55 minutes of riding. The briefing takes about 10 minutes, happens before you set off and is not counted in your riding time.
07Do I have to pay in advance? Is there a booking deposit?
No, there is no deposit — you pay on site, by card or in cash. Booking online requires no advance payment.
08What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
You can change the date without any trouble — we are flexible. Just let us know and we will find a new day; we take no deposit, so you lose nothing.
09Do you ride in the rain?
Yes, we ride in all conditions — rain does not stop us. You can safely plan your trip for a rainy day in Zakopane too.
10Do we ride in a group with strangers, or just us?
Usually you ride in a group with other guests — before the trip we split it into beginners and more experienced riders, so everyone feels safe and comfortable. A private trip with just your own guide can be arranged in advance, for a surcharge that depends on the date and the number of people.
11Do you organise trips for groups?
Yes — for organised groups we run trips of 1, 2 or 3 hours or a full day, and we can arrange transport from your hotel. After the trip we host a bonfire and grill at our base, with a gazebo and music. We agree the details by phone.
12What if I damage the vehicle?
If you damage the vehicle, you pay for the damaged parts.
13Do your instructors speak English?
Yes, our instructors speak fluent English — the briefing and the whole trip can be in English.
14Is this legal?
Yes. We ride on our own off-road arena with 30 km of trails, always with an instructor and after a short briefing. Legal routes are one of the reasons we have been operating in Zakopane longer than any other company of this kind.
15Where exactly are you located?
